The CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join a dynamic team within a leading Australian investment bank. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in the company's AI journey, deploying cutting-edge technologies to give the business a competitive edge in the market. The successful candidate will be part of an inclusive, collaborative environment that values great ideas and results for its clients while also driving positive social outcomes for communities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement RAG (Retrieve, Analyse, Generate) frameworks to enhance AI capabilities
  • Engineer and optimise prompts for AI model interaction to ensure efficient operations
  • Integrate with the Langchain API for enhanced model interoperability
  • Engage with the Hugging Face ecosystem to deploy state-of-the-art NLP models
  • Facilitate API integration with leading model providers, enriching our AI capabilities
  • Identify automation and optimisation opportunities within our broader business ecosystem
  • Engineer process orchestration and data transformation pipelines

Your Skills

  • 5+ years commercial experience in Engineering including Data Engineering and/or AI
  • Keen learner curious about new technologies and open to doing things differently
  • Experience with Databricks in a commercial setting
  • Experience with LLM Ecosystem – Prompt Engineering, RAG and Fine Tuning
  • Python engineering experience in a commercial setting
